To be honest, those two days were so consuming I’m struggling to think about what we did on the other days! On Monday Little M and I popped into Norwich for some last minute birthday present buying, then the evening was spent building her trike ready to be unveiled in the morning, as well as baking Little M’s birthday cake ready to be decorated in the morning.
Tuesday was all about the birthday celebrations; we popped to the park with a couple of Little M’s baby buddies in the morning, then Daddy came home from work early and the grandparents joined us for some birthday cake and present opening.
On Wednesday, I was at work, then on Thursday we enjoyed our weekly Tiny Talk class. Little M loves playing with all of the toys and interacting with the other babies. Friday was spent chilling out at home before making yet another birthday cake in the evening, ready to enjoy with our friends on Saturday.
It was really nice having lots of people round, actually; my kitchen has never been so clean and it prompted us to give the garden a good tidy up, too! Does anyone else only clean when they’re expecting visitors, or is that just me?
Anyway, today’s photo is of Little M enjoying her birthday cake and being sung to at her little party on Saturday. Despite already having one cake on Tuesday, she hasn’t learned the concept of blowing out the candle yet, so I gave her a helping hand. Or rather, a helping blow!
