We’ve had a mixed week of being out and about, then stuck indoors because of the rain. The weather can’t seem to make up its mind! I won’t complain though, as I don’t like it too hot, and the sunshine we have had, has been just right for me!
On Monday we went to Heacham to visit my lovely friend and her son, Ted. Ted is almost three, and Little M loved playing him! We don’t see Ted as often as we should really, so it was lovely to see how keen Little M was to play with him. I think Ted was maybe a little less keen to play with a baby, but he seemed to enjoy himself, nonetheless!
Midweek was a bit of a washout, but on Friday the sun shone, so we grabbed to opportunity to head to the coast again, this time to Sheringham. I wrote all about the fun we had in Sheringham last week, so I won’t rehash it here, but I had to use a photo from the day for my Living Arrows this week, as I’m so pleased with it.
I’ve been trying to take a decent overhead shot of Little M for ages, but there’s always something that I don’t like about it, or it’s not quite at the right angle, but I love this one. It certainly shows how stuck in to playing in the sand she was getting! She’s come a long way since our first trip to the beach, where she wouldn’t touch the sand or leave the safety of the picnic blanket!
On Sunday we met up with our lovely, lovely hypnobirthing friends. We tend to meet up about once every six weeks or so, and it’s so nice to see the changes in the babies each time we do. It’s also reassuring as one of the other mums is a health visitor, so I can share all my worries about Little M, and she’s fantastic at making me feel better! You can’t beat a well-qualified mummy friend, hey?!
