Secret Saviours Anti Stretch Mark Pack – 6 Week Update

I’ve been using Secret Saviours Anti Stretch Mark Pack for six weeks now, so I thought I’d do a little update to let you know how I’ve been getting on. As you may have read here, my first impressions of the pack were really good; the product smells lovely and the bump band seemed comfortable enough.

So am I still wearing it six weeks on? You betcha! I must admit I sometimes feel the need to take it off once it gets to the evening, but on other days I completely forget it’s there and wear it right through from getting dressed in the morning to going to bed. With that in mind I’d say that any discomfort I’ve felt is more to do with me (fluctuations in body temperature etc) rather than anything to do with the band.

I still love the smell of the product and hubby likes it too. He thinks it smells like Turkish Delight (although I’m not sure that’s quite accurate, but he likes it!) and it’s become a bit of a nighttime ritual for him to help me massage it into my bump. It’s something of a bonding experience for him, me and baby which is really lovely.

And I suppose the proof is in the pudding… I’m still only 28 weeks pregnant at the moment and there is still a way to go (and time for stretch marks to rear their ugly head!) but so far I can honestly say there isn’t a hint of one appearing. You’ll probably remember from my last post on this topic that I was somewhat reluctant to get my bump out for the camera so I’m afraid you’ll have to wait until nearer the end of the pregnancy for photographic evidence I’m afraid. You’ll just have to trust me on this one 😉

I’ll do another update as close to the end of the pregnancy as I can manage (maybe 34 weeks? I am nervous that baby might come early!) so we’ll see if any stretch marks have formed by then or if the Secret Saviours Anti Stretch Mark Pack has continued to do its thing!

Have you been using anything to try to avoid stretch marks in your pregnancy? Has it been working? I’d love you to share your successes (or failures!) in the comments.

This stuff sounds great and I like the idea of the support band. I managed to avoid stretch marks as my little girl decided she wanted to be born at 28 weeks! We held off until 29 weeks + 1 but there was no stopping her. I keep getting told how wonderful I look for having had a baby 2 weeks ago but honestly I feel very cheated out of my bump, which was only just starting to show anyway! Enjoy your bump and embrace stretch marks if you get them – it means baby is growing inside as they should be!x

With my first pregnancy I slathered my bump in all sorts of stuff in an attempt to prevent the stretch marks from appearing, but they came anyway! With my second pregnancy I didn’t have time to faff about with anything – my stomach was already covered so I didn’t mind so much. My daughter was a smaller baby and I didn’t get any new ones, despite the lack of creams. Maybe my skin was already stretched? Who knows!
It would be nice if they weren’t there, but I don’t mind them now. 🙂

A friend of mine said she’s hoping to get stretch marks as it’s evidence she carried her baby! I thought that was a rather lovely way to think about them xx

That stretch mark pack sounds great. I don’t remember seeing anything like this when I was pregnant. I used to wear a bump support band to relief any pain and then bio oil for stretch marks. This has been my life saver for both pregnancies. It was really good!! Good luck with the rest of the pregnancy. I hope it still helps you and there are NO stretch marks for you. I’m looking forward to see a photo of your bump by then, lol. Thanks so much for sharing this at #KCACOLS. I hope to see you again on Sunday.

This products looks great – I don’t think I was aware of anything like this when I was pregnant. It’s so lovely that your husband has gotten into a routine of rubbing the cream into bump – so sweet! Wishing you all best in your pregnancy and here’s to no stretch marks!! #KCACOLS

I didn’t use anything to avoid stretch marks as i don’t mind having them to be honest. I see them as my mummy stripes 🙂 they are ugly so i can understand why some people want to avoid them! Good luck with your pregnancy 🙂 Thank you for linking up to #KCACOLS and I hope to see you back again on sunday.
